To support families, we provide assistance and guidance for accessing child care subsidies available in British Columbia. These subsidies help reduce the financial burden on parents, making high-quality child care accessible to all.

Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB):

This Program provides financial support to families with a household income under $111K, offering up to $1,250 per child per month for child care. The amount you qualify for depends on your Family Income, child(ren)’s age, your family size, and the type of care you use.

This is parent program where, families are required to apply directly through the provincial government and renew their application each year.

Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI)

This is a provincially funded program aimed at helping licensed child care providers, such as Wonderful Beginnings. This helps reduce and stabilize child care fees for families. Eligible parents with children up to School age attending licensed child care center can save up to $900 per month per child.

This is a center-enrolled program, where each child enrolled with us is eligible for the subsidy, with the amount varying according to their age and the program they are attending.

Disclosure: Just a friendly reminder, if subsidies like the ACCB or CCFRI are not provided by the ministry, parents will be responsible for the entire monthly childcare fee.
